If you’re looking for some light entertainment, head over to your local school district’s website and search for “equity.” Count how many results pop up—it’s like playing Where’s Waldo, except Waldo is everywhere and he's wearing a hammer and sickle t-shirt.

Nearly every school district has an "equity" department, or at the very least, an equity program lurking somewhere. Your kids are soaking up this equity gospel in drips and drabs through their lessons, and their teachers are getting regular doses through professional development programs. And don't be fooled into thinking this is a red state/blue state issue—it's happening everywhere.

So, what exactly is equity? And why is it a Marxist Trojan horse to abolish capitalism?
